Nursery Bliss

I recently visited my gorgeous friend Lucy who is busy decorating in anticipation of their new arrival in June.  Have a look at what a beautiful job she has done of creating a serene (and gender neutral) baby's room... I am so envious of the armchair and ottoman, and the birdy sticker on the wall is such a sweet touch.  Just add a little bambino and the room will be complete! x

Eco Coastal House

This display home I created for Rawson Homes had a lovely natural theme, using lots of different wood tones and rustic pieces.... I really loved the organic feel and the earthy colour palette.

P.S My new camera is a Canon 500D with an 18-24 lens for those who were asking :)

Look Who Got a New Camera!

After years of saving and pining for a digital SLR camera, I finally have one in my possession!  HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!  I have been running around photographing everything (most of which is not the least bit interesting!).  This is the first installment in what could be a somewhat tedious journey of amateur photography (for which I apologise profusely)... bare with me... hopefully the results will improve with practice!

HAPPY EASTER!

This Easter, instead of spending ridiculous amounts of cash on expensive chocolate eggs, I had planned on making a whole heap of pretty pastel patterned eggs to give as gifts.... I used to love dying Easter Eggs when I was little - there was something magical about decorating the plain egg with invisible wax, then dunking it in the dye and watching the pattern emerge like a butterfly. Sadly, I ran out of time (and perhaps inclination) so I have the usual bag load of chocolate to give away instead. My family are probably quite relieved.... I'm not sure they share my love of pretty pastel colours enough to forgo a life-size chocolate rabbit!
