Now here's something you don't see too often on this blog... a touch of black!
Despite my love affair with all things pure and white, my alter ego has a yearning for black furniture that creeps up on me every now and then. The rocking chair above caught my eye a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about it... clearly I'm infatuated! Darker colours really help to ground a scheme - I particularly love the little glimpse of black and white rug you see in the image below.

Hmm, interesting, Ange. It took me years to even wear black and now that's second nature. But decorating with black? I think that's a bridge too far for me at the moment on Planet Baby - we seem to have so many primary colours rampant here! J x
