I'm a girly girl (I know... you're shocked, right?!). I've often whinged and wined about the fact that I now live in a male dominated world that is literally dripping with navy blue clothes and yellow tonka trucks! I desperately love my boys (both the big one and the little one) but I do occasionally dream of pink tulle skirts and silver fairy wings, of lavender cupcakes and sparkly shoes.
So I've decided that the only thing for it is to create my very own backyard shed (...I don't actually have a backyard yet, but I'm working on it!). I would have it totally decked out in white and pastels with a huge, jangly, glittering chandelier hanging from above, fairy lights strung all around, a kettle and a chair for my cat Daphne (... Daphne doesn't exist yet either by the way!). Would you care to join me for tea?

that looks like an amazing place to hang out and be all girly girl! oh which dress i shall wear whilst we sip tea and giggle! thanks for sharing xx
This shed is so sweet. I'd love to join you for tea or have one for myself. I posted about Gypsy caravan in a yard a while ago. You might be interested! They're similar ideas to have a little heaven of your own but in a different gypsy style :)

Girly girl...no ...really??!!! who would have guessed! Your mild obsession with pastels is verging on equal measures to my own. But I must say Ang this is a great alternative to a unit full of boys. I for one will be joining you in this bit of loveliness xx
Love it Ange. I wanted a little cavoodle called Audrey to sit on my lap whilst I drink my copious amounts of tea, I convinced my fiance about the dog, but he hated the name Audrey and didn't want anything 'oodle' but Tessa is the best! My sewing room is my explosion of girly ness in my house, and I love it.
I would love to join you and Daphne. We have a cavalier poodle cross called Zeke who doesn't exist yet but will one day... Sometimes you just have to be girly...
I would love to hang out with you in your gorgeous girlie shed, it sounds divine!!!
How blissful, Ang! Sigh. J x
Yes, I am coming and I am bringing strawberry tarts with lemon cream...

Sounds like a splendid idea! I will be right over!
nothing wrong with dreaming! The backyard shed you found looks like a great place to hang out for all of us girly girls!
I'll definitely join you for tea. A girly shed sounds ever so perfect, and I think Daphne needs to join you sooner rather than later. Hope you've had a perfect first Mothers Day today! Amanda xx
