Having just spent the most tragically lovely Saturday night curled up on my sofa watching Anne of Green Gables, I felt I needed to share a bit of Anne Shirley with the world... I was 8 when this movie came out and I can still remember sitting on my grandmother's lounge room floor, eating Honey Snaps and forming a ridiculous crush on Gilbert Blythe.... I went through a stage of carrying around wads of paper and declaring to my family that I was writing my memoirs - I don't think I ever got past the first sentence, I was far too busy imitating Anne's intensely pensive facial expressions :)

I spent my Saturday night watching the same thing, doesn't it bring back so many memories. The houses and the scenery!
Okay, I'll confess, I spent my Saturday night watching Anne of Green Gables too! (Note to self: Need to get a social life) Anyway... I adored Marilla and Matthew just as much as Anne. Lee :)
OMG, I did the wads of paper thing, too!
I loved Anne of Green Gables! I always wanted to be as outspoken as Anne.
