Linen I Love You

Sometimes when talking to clients I find myself using the term 'linen colour scheme' which is met with a blank stare - who can blame them really seeing as though it's a totally made-up term and makes absolutely no sense to anyone but me! Basically, it encapsulates a beautiful, subtle palette made up of gorgeous neutral tones in greys, beiges and whites. So soothing, so calming, so restrained, so sublime! It makes for such a great canvas onto which you can throw almost any accent colour you like.

Here are some lovely examples to drool over :)

I get what you mean my 'linen' colour scheme and I find this colour scheme so appealing! Thanks for the images, I am drooling! I particularly love that bathroom and have added it to my bathroom design file. It's getting bigger by the day!

I completely understand linen color scheme! I also picture a variety of textures, like actual linen and burlap. Love your blog, so happy you stopped by Little Blue Deer, definitely following! XO!

Hi Dear Angela
I'm just loving all these images.. In fact I have been thinking of linen a lot since my move... the new places is quite iffy beige but perhaps linens would be just what it needs.. I've been thinking about powder blue linen too!!

thanks for popping by... my internet is quite useless in the new place hence my lack of post and visits.. Hope you are well.. xxx Julie
