For fear of appearing dull, I thought I should post some seriously colourful images just to prove that I am indeed capable of embracing a bright palette! Bed of Flowers is a quaint little B&B located close to the Rhine, about an hours drive from Amsterdam. Should I ever venture to the Netherlands, I would love to stay here (if only I could convince Andre that a little bit of chintz is not necessarily an evil thing!).

Now that's a B&B! Pity it's so far away but I could imagine this somewhere in northern NSW too!

Yes, chintz is considered evil at my place too. As a woman living in an all male household, I think I have every right to indulge my feminine side if I want to! maybe the guest bedroom can get the full floral treatment!

Oh so lovely!! As luck would have it I'm going to be in Amsterdam at the end of November, so maybe I'll try & talk my travelling companion into a stay here!
(She's my little cousin, so I'm prepared to pull rank on her if need be...but I doubt it will, this place sells itself...& turquoise is her favourite colour!). Thx for the gorgeous tip! :)
